General Info

Tucked away at 1122 Taylor St in Fort Wayne, this spot truly lives up to its reputation as The Heart Of Asian Fusion. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels relaxed and unpretentious. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in quietly, enjoy comforting flavors, and not feel rushed. The casual setting, clean restroom facilities, and smooth takeout service make it a reliable choice whether you’re dining in or grabbing something to go.

What stands out immediately is how thoughtfully the menu brings together different Asian influences without feeling overwhelming. Every dish feels intentional. On my first visit, the Pho Beef Soup Cooked was a highlight. The broth was rich, warm, and deeply satisfying-exactly what you’d expect from a comfort food staple. It had that slow-simmered depth that makes you pause between bites just to take it in.

Then there’s the Papaya Salad Wings, which offer a surprising twist. They balance tangy freshness with a subtle kick, making them a great starter if you want something light but flavorful. Moving into heartier options, the Red Curry delivers bold, aromatic notes that linger pleasantly, while the Orange Chicken leans into a slightly sweet profile without overpowering the dish.

One item that really caught my attention was the Crab Mandalay 8 Pieces. It’s one of those dishes that feels both familiar and unique at the same time. Crispy on the outside and packed with flavor inside, it’s easy to see why it’s a favorite among regulars.

The location itself adds to the experience. Being in Fort Wayne, it feels accessible yet tucked away enough to offer a quiet escape. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick lunch or planning a relaxed dinner, the flow of service remains steady and comfortable. Staff interactions feel genuine, adding to the overall welcoming vibe.

After a couple of visits, it’s clear why reviews for this place tend to be positive. The balance between quality dishes, a calm environment, and dependable service makes it stand out among local dining options. It doesn’t try too hard-and that’s exactly what makes it memorable.

What customers say?

“ The first time my family stopped by to have dinner here, they were very impressed. The food was delicious, the taste was authentic and made me think of Thailand. Delicious papaya salad, delicious fried rice, everything was delicious, clean, fast service, didn't wait long for the food. Ample free parking One thing that was not impressive was that the drinking water had sediment. and things I would like to recommend If the atmosphere of the shop is decorated a little more beautifully. Overall, everything is good. And thank you once again for making delicious food for us to eat. Will come back to eat again. ”

“ My favorite to go to for Thai food. Food is so delicious. Most Thai food places aren’t spicy but this was the right spicy that I love. The portion size is big and worth the money. ”

“ The server was fantastic. So friendly during our visit. Got the crab mandalay, chicken cashew nut stir fry and the seafood mix veg out dinner. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. My wife usually doesn't like squid or octopus because it can be chewy, this time she loved how tender they were. Fresh lime drink and lemon ice tea to wash it all down. Looking forward to coming back. ”

“ I am always impressed with the food and quality as well as the portion amounts! The owners are fantastic and so kind. Their food is exceptional especially for having such a diverse menu among so many different Asian styles. You will not be disappointed! ”

“ The staff was very kind and courteous. I had the Hana fried rice and it may be been the best of my life. Other places skimp on the ingredients to make it simple but this had a lot of ingredients and was very flavorful and moist. The restaurant isn't fancy inside, but wa very clean. I did takeout and they were able to prepare my food quickly. The do have a cooler with a lot of soda options. ”

“ Lovely place to stop while we passed through Fort Wayne. The flavours were perfect! Medium was nice and spicy! Try everything! The wings were crunchy and juicy. This is the spot! They offer lots of drinks. We didn't worry about the city tap water. Who drinks tap water? ”

“ You absolutely must try the Spicy Basil Thai Hot Fried Rice ! I just got back from Thailand and sampled so many fried rice dishes, but none of them compare to the incredible aroma and flavor of The Heart of Asian Fusion fried rice. ”

“ First time ever coming in here and it completely blew our expectations. Ordered the Rice noodles (Thai spicy and they don’t play around it’s spicy but delicious) and the girlfriend ordered the Ma am noodles with chicken. Everything is extremely fresh and flavorful with quality meat. Very large portions so worth the $15-20 pricing. Boba teas are sweet but not too sweet. Restaurant was very clean and the woman at the register was very polite and recommended our food! Definitely will be coming back! ”
